As a Warehouse Checker, you inspect our products and make sure they tick all the boxes before leaving the Warehouse.Have you heard of a refractometer or penetrometer? These are the tools that our Checkers use to ensure our strawberries meet the right sweetness levels and to measure the bite of our apples. The quality of our products is top notch because our eagle-eyed Warehouse Checkers have checked them. Come join the team at ALDI as a Warehouse Checker!What does the role involve?
- Availability across Mon-Sun on a rotating roster for 25hrs per week across 5 shifts
- Approx. 6-hour shifts between 5:00am – 2:30pm on any rostered day
- Food Sciences background (ideal but not essential)
- HACCP/Food Handling experience (ideal but not essential)
- You’ll conduct in-depth specification testing including shelf-life testing to ensure products comply with ALDI’s high quality standards.
- You’ll communicate with the Team Leader regarding product quality, specs or anything else which will assist them in decision making.
- You’ll engage and coordinate with the people who make it all happen – our internal and external stakeholders.
- You’ll keep your knowledge sharp and up to date, ensuring you’re always on top of the latest quality-related issues.
