Fountain Tire Spruce Grove, is looking for a responsible, experienced, and safety conscious associates to join our team as Commercial Tire Technicians.Compensation: $18-$26/hour (based on experience)Benefits: Discounted Services, Health, Dental, Vision and, RSP MatchingWhat is in it for you?

Primary Responsibilities:
- Install, balance, and rotate passenger and light truck tires and wheels
- Complete and maintain a variety of safety courses including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards
- The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe
- Maintain tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
- Complete specialty tire work, which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
- Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
- Pride in the work you’ve done keeping your customers safe and on the road, site or field!
Working conditions:
- A team environment where hard work, concise communication and clear heads are rewarded
- In shop work as well as service truck calls
- After hours service calls
- Consistent lifting of weights up to approximately 100lbs is required
- This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc and we need someone who will be up for the challenge
- This role requires nearly constant standing, crouching or kneeling
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of tire experience – Commercial and OTR experience preferred. Will train motivated candidates with a good attitude
- A valid driver’s license is a must. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver’s abstract
- Excellent customer service skills and a great attitude are essential
