- Provide person-centered care, attending to physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Support individuals in accessing a wide range of activities and services within the community.
- Act as an advocate for individuals, ensuring their voices are heard in all aspects of daily life.
- Assist new staff members and contribute to team development.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and liaise with relevant parties to ensure safety.
- Identify and take appropriate action in cases of discrimination.
- Work flexibly across different locations to meet the needs of the service.

About you
Essential Requirements:
- Experience: Some experience in community work or social care services, either in a paid or voluntary capacity.
- Communication: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with a diverse range of people.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality services.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with learning disabilities and the services that support them.
- Advocacy: Able to converse fluently with the public and provide effective help or advice.
- Physical Support: Ability to lift, move, and handle using aids, following health and safety guidelines.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to travel across service bases in Luton.
- Desire to obtain a QCF Level 3 in Care (training and support provided).
