Employment Type: Contract （Full time）Job Summary:The Site Safety Officer will be responsible for the daily oversight and implementation of safety protocols at the site. This role requires a vigilant and proactive individual who can identify potential hazards, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and provide training to site personnel.Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the site to identify potential hazards and ensure that safety regulations are being followed.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the site complies with all safety regulations, as well as company policies.
- Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into any accidents or incidents on-site, determining the root cause and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Safety Training: Develop and deliver safety training programs for site employees, including orientations for new contractors and ongoing safety education.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans and ensure that all site personnel are familiar with them.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training. Prepare reports for management on safety performance.
- PPE Management: Ensure that all personnel have the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and that it is used correctly.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses, implementing mitigation strategies where necessary.
- Communication: Act as the point of contact for all safety-related matters on-site, communicating effectively with management, employees, and external inspectors.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving safety performance and reducing risks on-site.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
- Certifications: Valid Green Book holder registered with the Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH)
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in identifying hazards and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Physical Requirements: Ability to walk/stand for extended periods, work in varying environmental conditions, and respond to emergencies on-site.Interested?
