The purpose of the role is to work to improve the financial wellbeing of unpaid carers.Key aims of the project are:· to promote sources of financial support for carers, by organising and attending drop-in sessions, coffee mornings, roadshow events etc in partnership with Derbyshire Carers Association· to respond to referrals for support by providing advice, signposting to specialist services and supporting individuals to apply for grant funding where applicable, alongside colleagues from Derbyshire’s Welfare Rights ServiceWe welcome applications from candidates with a diverse range of experience, for example in areas such as: public health, health improvement, housing, third sector, advice work, community development work or working with financially excluded people.
