This includes supporting the ICT needs of all parliamentarians and their staff and the parliamentary office locations across Australia. ISD also provides ICT services to the other parliamentary departments: Department of the Senate, Department of the House of Representatives, and the Parliamentary Budget Office.Our mission is to ensure the smooth operation of parliamentary activities through efficient and effective service delivery. The duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide high level advice on procurement and contract management related matters across the Information Services Division.
- Conduct procurement activities using best practices and judgment to make decisions on procurement and related activities that are fundamental to the day-to-day operations of the Information Services Division.
- Prepare and review a range of written material including reports, contracts, procurement documentation, Senate Estimates briefs, questions on notice and executive briefings (where required).
- Identify, manage, and mitigate procurement risks to meet organisational obligations and maximise business opportunities.
- Guide and mentor less experienced team members in procurement and contract management to build capability and capacity.

- Australian citizenship – to be eligible for employment with DPS, applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
- Security clearance and character clearance – the preferred applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the level specified, as well as complete and be deemed suitable through a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
