One that is equitable and prioritises learning and wellbeing.Together we will make our education system the best it can be.When our children and young people thrive, so do our communities and our state.About the Role:The Manager Inclusive Support and Advice will lead a team of expert educators and project officers who provide advice and research on health, sensory, complex needs, early years, personalised learning and special options. This role requires broad knowledge of contemporary inclusive approaches to improve learning and wellbeing outcomes. Additionally, the Manager will provide high-level leadership to ensure evidence based teaching strategies, research, and advice are implemented to improve access, achievement and engagement for children and students with disabilities in inclusive education environments.The Manager will oversee statewide disability policy and programs, including marketing, promoting, and training stakeholders on policy arrangements and funding processes. This role involves monitoring and evaluating policy impacts across the department and ensuring strong engagement with Student Support Services and schools, and other directorates.Qualifications:Essential: A tertiary qualification or equivalent experience relating to this position.Desirable: Relevant post graduate qualifications – an appropriate tertiary qualification in 1 or more of the following fields: education, disability or public policy.Special Conditions:The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
