An Exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to work on the Surgical Assessment Unit at Pinderfields Hospital.The Surgical Assessment unit has 27 assessment beds and 5 Same Day Emergency Care trolleysWe are looking for a registered nurse to join our team to cover maternity leave and deliver high quality, compassionate care to all patients in our department. You must be enthusiastic, well-motivated and caring, to work within the multidisciplinary team in providing high standards of patient care, and the maintenance of a safe working environment. Experience is preferred for this post.The successful candidates will have the ability to plan, assess, implement and evaluate patient care. Good interpersonal skills are essential, along with a willingness to learn; the ability to work effectively in a team; to be self-motivated and to have a positive attitude towards change and to be able to adapt to the change quickly.We provide care and support to over half a million people in Wakefield and Kirklees in their homes, in community settings and across our three hospital sites at Pontefract, Dewsbury and Pinderfields (in Wakefield).We live by our values of caring, improving, being respectful and maintaining high standards.
