We strongly encourage applicants from key communities including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, LGBTIQA+ people, and people living with disabilities.Primary Purpose:Function as a clinical resource and liaison person for medical investigators, national and international trial centres, drug regulatory authorities and other stakeholders in relation to clinical trials.Responsible for a clinical trial portfolio, coordinating trial participants and providing clinical case management support to the Nurse Unit Manager and Medical Oncologist with other clinical trials as required.The Role:Ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standardsProvide direct clinical and research care to trial participantsMaintain, collect and record data relating to outcomes, adverse events, protocol deviationsEnsure the integrity and reliability of trial resultsNote: – Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.The Team:The Northern Cancer Service conducts research projects aimed at improving services and treatment for patients living with cancer at a local, national and internal level. We run a range of phase 2 and phase 3 clinical trials in solid tumours and blood cancers. All clinical trials and research conducted at the Northern Cancer Service have ethical approval and oversight from an accredited, nationally recognised Human Research Ethics Committee. AllowanceYou’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.RN:
- Access to the Grade 4 salary range $96,558 to $102,908 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4
In addition, the following allowance calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type
