The successful applicant will ideally possess an excellent understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum, assessment, and reporting requirements for Years 7 to 12 in HASS. This knowledge, combined with pedagogical skills, should enable the development of programs differentiated for the specific learning needs of all students across a full range of abilities. You will also ideally use high level data literacy and monitoring processes to support all students, including those who are not performing to their full potential.As the Program Coordinator, duties may include:

  • In collaboration with the principal and members of the senior leadership team, provide educational leadership in the school and the community by developing and promoting the school vision.
  • Have clear goals and high expectations of the learning that will occur in classes, aligned with our Bullsbrook College Playbook and Instructional Model. This will include leading a culture of classroom observation and instructional coaching.
  • A high level of interpersonal skills with a focus on enhancing a culture that works collaboratively to support student success.
  • Facilitate workforce effectiveness and provides a role model for self-development to improve professional performance.
  • Contribute to the development of the school plan through participative decision making, including assisting in developing policy and establishing and maintaining systems.
  • Undertake administrative duties related to the area of responsibility.
  • Leadership of the Year 7 student group, you will work closely with the Year Coordinator to case manage students in the areas of attendance, behaviour, and well-being.
  • Leading implementation of restorative practice through the Real Schools Partnership
