Underpinning the portfolio is a desire for staff to have seamless, secure access to tools, systems and processes that back the delivery of world class science.As a Power Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for the enterprise-scale implementation and support of Microsoft Power Platform solutions. In this role, you will oversee the lifecycle management of these services, ensuring continuous improvement, scalability, and alignment with governance and security policies. You will collaborate with project teams and geographically dispersed stakeholders to design, deploy, and maintain solutions that meet business requirements. Additionally, you will support the ongoing development of Power Platform capabilities, ensuring the platform remains optimized and aligned with organizational goals. Strong technical expertise and the ability to work effectively across distributed teams are key to succeeding in this role.Security Clearance: This is a security assessed position and the successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance of NV1 (SECRET).Your duties will include:Design, configure, and manage Power Platform environments, focusing on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and secure connector usage.Administer user accounts, permissions, and licensing to ensure compliance with organizational policies.Implement and monitor security measures to adhere to regulatory standards and internal security protocols.Continuously monitor and optimize system performance for a seamless user experience.Provide technical support and guidance to developers, assisting with effective Power Platform tool use.Develop and enforce governance policies and best practices for secure, compliant, and consistent platform use.Oversee environment setup and maintenance (development, testing, production) to facilitate smooth deployment processes.Location: Australian Locations with a significant CSIRO presence.Salary: AU$96,811 – AU$109,527 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) plus 15.4% superannuationTenure: IndefiniteReference: 98259To be considered you will need:Essential:Under CSIRO policy only those who meet all essential criteria can be appointed.
