Our expertise encompasses gas turbines, steam turbines, reciprocating engines, gas plants, biomass plants, coal-fired boiler plants, chiller plants, high-voltage substation, and more. From the early stages of master planning and permitting through comprehensive detailed design, we partner with our clients to create solutions that provide reliable, sustainable energy.Working alongside CHA’s professional engineers, the Mechanical Engineer supports the design development, implementation and technical analysis of various systems to implement new products, or changes to an existing scheme, to suit individual client needs. The professional in this role aids in preparing technical reports, contract documents and cost estimates for various engineering tasks. At CHA, our Mechanical Engineer works on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company requirements.The Mechanical Engineer identifies technical discrepancies in analytical results and makes appropriate corrections. - Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of related Engineering experience required
- Strong knowledge of engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
- Has a strong theoretical knowledge in the respective engineering field
- Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn about the respective engineering discipline
- Familiar with QA/QC procedures
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
- Desire to work in a collaborative team environment with the willingness to assist more senior staff
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required
SALARY RANGE::$70,000 – $76,000Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
