You will lead and manage a team focused on achieving a zero-breakdown goal, working closely with manufacturing, quality engineering, and machine tool vendors to enhance the uptime and efficiency of our equipment. By analysing performance and implementing preventative measures, you’ll ensure the EPMC runs smoothly, delivering the premium product our customers expect.You will also play a strategic role in driving continuous improvement, leading Kaizen and CI activities, and developing a robust maintenance strategy in line with JLR’s vision. - Strong supervisory or project management skills are preferred.
- Familiarity with leadership behaviours, with the ability to demonstrate these strengths.
- Proven experience and knowledge in engine component machining, assembly, and testing.
- Skilled in using preventive maintenance system data, such as SAP PM or similar platforms.
- Expertise in asset management tools and techniques, with the capability to train team members across all levels.
- Qualified, or actively working towards, an NVQ Level 3 (or higher e.g. HNC/HND) in a relevant field.
