The post is for a locum, less than full time (8PA) Locum Consultant Medical Oncologist with specialist interest in Breast & Gynaecological cancer within the Department of Oncology at St George’s Hospital. Within the Oncology department, the post-holder will work alongside the Breast oncology consultants (Dr Muireann Kelleher, Dr Fiona Kyle and Dr Catherine Cafferkey) and work closely with Dr Fiona Lofts, Consultant Medical Oncologists in Gynae unit. The post-holder’s mentor for this new post will be Dr Fiona Kyle to help integrate the post-holder into St George’s Healthcare – potentially a new trust – particularly important if he/she is a new consultant transitioning from Specialist Trainee status. Mentorship meetings will be formalised protected time and will occur weekly for six weeks then monthly and will be shared with Dr Jason Chow, Care Group Lead.Main duties of the jobPlease see attached JD for further details regarding the post.
