We are proud of our diverse team of professionals who collaborate to develop and implement policies, programs and initiatives that promote student success and enhance educational outcomes across the territory.Based out of St Francis Secondary School, the Kitchen Assistant under the direction of the principal assists in maintaining safe, clean, and efficient operations of the school cafeteria. This role requires maintaining cleanliness and performing food service tasks in a professional kitchen equipped with various operating machines, catering to a full-service cafeteria serving 400 people daily. The Kitchen assistant engages with students and a contractor. The ideal candidate for this role is collaborative, flexible, and is able to adapt to various environments and tasks within the setting of a busy school cafeteria.Important application requirementsPlease submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet each of the following qualifications. - Experience working in a high-volume commercial or institutional food service setting including restaurants, coffee shops, etc.
- Experience performing cleaning duties in a school or large multi-use buildings.
- Experience working with Youth would be considered an asset.
