Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is a small island country in the Caribbean Sea. It is a member of the Commonwealth of Nations and the Caribbean Community (CARICOM). The country is located north of Venezuela and east of Grenada. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is made up of 32 islands, of which only six are inhabited. The main islands are Saint Vincent and Bequia. The capital and largest city is Kingstown on Saint Vincent. English is the official language. The currency is the East Caribbean dollar (XCD).
