Job Description:

In this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate closely with various stakeholders across the organization to devise and execute strategies aimed at realizing both short-term gains and long-term financial objectives for the business.Reporting into an impressive manager, and alongside a finance team full of high performing employees the this FP&A opportunity plays a pivotal role in providing financial leadership to wider business. This role is instrumental in delivering timely and accurate financial information to support effective decision-making and business operations.Key Responsibilities:
- Consolidation: Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation of financial statements for multiple subsidiaries and business units.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyse consolidated financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Data Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Business Partnering: Work closely with finance teams and non financial stakeholders across the organisation to gather and verify financial information.
- System Improvement: Continuously improve consolidation and reporting processes, leveraging financial systems and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Undertake ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required, supporting the Commercial Finance Manager and senior leadership team in driving strategic initiatives and addressing business challenges.
To be considered we are seeking candidates who demonstrate a level of adaptability and flexibility and who can work in fluid environments. You will also be:
- CA/CPA qualified with past experience gained in similar roles – ideally Retail/FMCG experience
- Demonstrate strong communication and relationship skills and ability to quickly gain trust and confidence.
- Possess strong analytical and excel skills and sound commercial judgement.
- And the ability to quickly absorb and interpret complex information and understand the business drivers of your customers.
- You will be technically strong and have the interpersonal skills to build relationships with non-finance stakeholders.
