The service department is an important area of our business, ensuring that our equipment is ready and available for our customers. This position requires a hard-working, dedicated individual with excellent attention to detail, who can excel in a busy, team-oriented environment.Job DescriptionParticipate in safe workplace safety, environmentally sound behaviors and practices at all times in support of Battlefield’s health and safety policy programs and initiatives;
Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with company and manufacturer standards;
Perform inspections on equipment on job site;
Ensure parts are ordered in a timely manner;
Maneuver efficiently and effectively within the region in all traffic situations;
Responsible for truck inventory and work order practices;
Provide excellent customer relations in a fast-paced;
Adaptable to on-call work schedules and willing to work in all weather conditions;
Ensure vehicle is maintained and organized;
Minor to major repairs in all weather conditions
Perform other duties as assigned.Key Qualifications5+ years’ experience;
Existing knowledge of construction equipment and building products, specifically CAT;
Hands on experience in the repair and service/maintenance requirements for various types of construction equipment;
Ability to work independently, and in a team atmosphere;
Good communication and people skills;
Strong time management and organizational skills;
Operate and maintain all shop equipment and ensure a safe, clean & organized shop area;
All other duties as assigned by the Branch & Service Managers.Additional Qualifications and SkillsApplicant must be able to perform heavy lifting, as heavy lifting will be required frequently;
The ideal candidate will have previous experience with CAT Equipment;
