You will be required to undertake health risk assessments, Legionella monitoring and responses, and a wide variety of other EH tasks such as emergency management, Aboriginal EH, water quality, skin penetration, and public health emergencies and critical incidents.In this role, you will also be responsible for undertaking a tobacco compliance and education role which includes organising and implementing tobacco related programs to meet targets set by the Ministry, or the Local Health District, such as sales to minors testing, tobacco advertising, and smoke free environment programs. - A nationally accredited degree in Science (Environmental Health) and relevant professional experience in Environmental Health is preferred
