We’re searching for talented Apprentices to electrify our team right here in the vibrant heart of Grande Prairie, AB. Get ready to be immersed in a full-time adventure that sparks inspiration.
The journey starts as early as September 11, with a rhythm that keeps you grooving Monday through Friday.
What would you be doing?
- Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications to decide on wiring layouts.
- Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other electrical conductor enclosures and fixtures.
- Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors.
- Position, support , and install equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, panels, fuse enclosures, fire alarms, lighting controls, and auto backup generators.
- Install, replace, support, and repair electrical systems and related electrical equipment.
- Testing circuits to ensure integrity and safety.
Does this sound like you?
- Have an Apprentice Electrician ticket.
- Self-motivated, capable of performing tasks with minimal supervision.
- Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
- Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
