Hold a regular weekly Duty Manager shift at a YMCA Calgary facility.Provide excellent customer service, maintaining facility security and safety, and leading the emergency response when required.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends with irregular and extended hours.Ability to work at multiple facilities across the association.Ability to work at times in a fast-paced environment with high pressure and stress situations.Ability to use communication skills to deescalate situations.Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet the needs and demands of facility operations.Take a proactive approach to ensure and maintain a safe work environment.Ensure facility security, following all opening and closing procedures.Respond to facility emergencies, first aid requests, incidents, and thefts.Accurate recording of incidents and interactions through internal reporting systems.Be aware of all programs and facility bookings; ensuring that facilitators have all necessary resources.Work in a team environment to provide excellent service; providing support to busy areas, tours, set-up of program areas and anything else required to ensure the smooth operation of the facility. .What qualities do we look for in YMCA Calgary Staff and Volunteers?Our diverse team of staff and volunteers are committed to making a positive impact in the community.
