Animed Direct has an online turnover of over £40m p.a in the UK and has plans in place to expand sales across other European markets in the near future. We are passionate about what we do and the outstanding service we provide to our customers and their pets, whether they be two-legged, four legged, feathered or finned!As part of our continued growth, we are looking to recruit a 2 part-time Dispensing Veterinary Surgeons in remote positions, with occasional visits to Diss. This exciting opportunity allows you to apply your veterinary expertise in a new capacity. Focusing on prescription approval and other office based tasks essential for our business operations. Join us in shaping the future of online veterinary care.Within this role you will work as part of a team of vets who are responsible for:
- Ensuring prescription validity, clinical accuracy and compliance with VMD regulations
- Liaising with veterinary practices and prescribing veterinary surgeons to clarify any prescription anomalies or queries
- Working with the prescription administration team to ensure that all prescriptions are processed in a timely manner
Key skills and experience required as follows:
- MRCVS Qualified Veterinary Surgeon (New or recent graduates are welcome to apply)
- Some clinical experience as a qualified veterinary surgeon is preferred but not essential
- An up to date CPD record
- Basic computing skills
- Good customer service skills
