The school has a collaborative culture with year level teams of teachers planning together within the School Curriculum Framework. Specialist teachers provide lessons in PE and The Arts. The school offers significant opportunities for students to excel in sport and music.Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School is extensively resourced with a court-size covered area, full size oval, modern play equipment, a performing arts area and a sacred site and labyrinth. The library is well resourced and ICTs are integrated across all learning areas. The school is located close to the Sacred Heart Church and Lammermoor Beach.Your RoleApplications are invited for the position of Crossing Supervisor, for an immediate commencement or as negotiated with the successful applicant. This is a term-time continuing position for 2.5hpw, Monday to Friday from 2:50pm to 3:20pm.Typical duties include:
- Practice confidentiality in relation to all aspects of the role
- Assist pedestrians to cross roads at approved crossings when going to and from school
- Monitor and report serious incidents at approved school crossings
- Provide advice to pedestrians on road safety rules and regulations pertaining to school crossings
- Carry out duties within the parameters of Workplace Health & Safety
