We are looking to add a Part-Time Construction Site Superintendent to the team, in Edmonton and Calgary, AB. As such, experienced qualified Project Superintendents who can demonstrate success in industrial/commercial construction are invited to apply!Job Duties:
- Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will be responsible for providing project supervision
- Scheduling, logistics and completion of projects safely, on time and on budget
- Complete quality control functions
- Supervise all onsite aspects of the construction of large, complex, technically challenging, and rewarding projects
- Plan work and document the plan via written schedules
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in a superintendent supervisory role in both industrial and commercial construction
- Trade certification or relevant technical diploma
- Strong knowledge of construction disciplines, cost control, scheduling, and safety regulations
- Strong coordination and organizational skills
- Strong problem solving ability and follow through
- Professional written and oral communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of Alberta Building Code and standards, and ability to complete work with adherence to these guidelines
