About the work from home job/internshipAt FlashSkool, we create engaging courses, games, and software templates. We’re currently developing an educational RTS game in Unity, focused on teaching Indian history (16th-18th centuries) through immersive gameplay.As our first 3D modeler, your skills will be crucial. You’ll use Blender to create optimized assets (forts, terrain, historical figures, etc.) for a top-down RTS, then integrate them into Unity.Passion for Indian history and eagerness to learn are key! We provide training resources (books, tutorials, courses) and mentorship.Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Create historically accurate and optimized 3D models of various types of Indian forts, including their unique architectural features, mountainous/hilly terrain, and other environment assets suitable for a top-down RTS game.
2. Design and model a diverse range of prominent figures from 16th-century India (rulers, soldiers, generals, kings, saints, etc.) with appropriate attire, weaponry, and characteristics, optimized for a top-down perspective.
3. Optimize all 3D models for performance in a top-down RTS game by keeping polygon counts low while maintaining visual fidelity.
4. Collaborate with our game designers and educational experts to ensure models are aligned with the game’s learning objectives, historical accuracy, and RTS gameplay mechanics.
5.
