We are currently recruiting a qualified Clinical Nurse with a strong background in Child Health who is looking for an exciting career opportunity in the Great Southern region of Western Australia!This is a Recruitment Pool for a permanent or fixed term part-time positions at 45.6 hours per fortnight (0.6 FTE) with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.About the REGIONThe Great Southern region is located on the south coast of Western Australia, adjoining the Southern Ocean, where the coast extends for approximately 500 km. - Possession of a family and child health postgraduate certificate or the equivalent
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of primary health care principles and the social determinants of health
- The ability to provide clinical leadership and consultancy to the multidisciplinary health team, and coordinate care for vulnerable children, families, and communities.
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills including well developed written, verbal and group facilitation skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of multicultural issues including indigenous populations
