Location: The Langton Centre, Surry HillsApplications close date: 12 November 2024Where you’ll be workingSESLHD Drug and Alcohol (D&A) Service offers a range of treatment and support services for people with problems from their alcohol, prescription, or illicit drug use, and/or their families and carers. Outpatient D&A services are located in clinics at the Langton Centre in Surry Hills, St George Hospital in Kogarah, and Caringbah Community Health Centre at Sutherland Hospital.Inpatient D&A services are provided at Sydney Hospital, Prince of Wales, St George, and Sutherland Hospitals. Court Diversion services are provided to Sutherland and Downing Centre Courts.Our goal is to improve health, wellbeing and social outcomes for individuals, families, and the community, related to drug and alcohol use.The RoleThis role provides advanced administrative and clerical support services, supervises administrative staff performing Langton Centre front-of house reception duties and coordinates administrative systems and procedures to enable Drug & Alcohol Services and the Sydney Drug Court team to achieve their objectives in a timely, reliable, and efficient manner.The Benefits

Selection Criteria * Demonstrated experience in providing expert administrative services within a complex work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to write complex documentation including reports, briefs, correspondence with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills to liaise professionally with a range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative and judgement to bring a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of IT, Health information systems and data management, including the ability to instruct others in their use.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement local administrative policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated high level experience in office management tasks such as secretariat responsibilities within senior level meetings, maintaining electronic records and diary management.
