Country Health Connect is seeking a dedicated Casual Community Midwife to provide high-quality, person-centred care across our diverse service areas.As a Clinical Nurse – Community Midwife, you will:
- Deliver Holistic Care: Provide proficient person centred clinical care and individual case management to mothers and babies in various health service settings;
- Support Families: Offer vital care and support for both mother and baby in their home environment as soon as practical after birth;
- Assess Needs: Evaluate the holistic needs of both mother and baby to ensure comprehensive care;
- Perform Investigations: Conduct pre-natal, post-natal, and neonatal assessments as required.
- Education: Participate in clinical teaching, overseeing learning experience, and goal setting for students, new staff and staff with less experience
The Clinical Nurse/Midwife provides care which has been consolidated by experience and/or further study with staff at this level developing from competent to proficient practitioners. Work at this level is undertaken by employees with at least 3 years post registration experience.You must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.focuses on the delivery of exceptional care to those living within our communities who require some support to remain living independently or reside in one of our residential aged care facilities.
