About part time job/internshipA leading childcare organization in Chennai is seeking interns for a 3-month period. This is an opportunity to serve the society! Bala Mandir’s unique Kinship Care program was launched in July 2021 as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The program aims to support children who have lost one or both parents and are now in the care of a relative or guardian. Understanding the significant negative impact this loss can have on the children, especially those from socio-economically weaker backgrounds, we have been providing support through dedicated field social workers. This support includes paying their tuition fees and offering various forms of assistance to the children and their families. Over the past 3 years, the program has expanded to cover children who have lost parents due to other causes and now includes over 1500 children across 14 districts.Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Provide administrative back-end support during the fundraising campaign for the Kinship Care program.
2. Coordinate effectively with the Kinship Care team by working from the office.
3.
