Job Description:The Theft Recovery Agent is responsible for ensuring theft packages are processed accurately and rental agreements are closed in a timely manner.The starting pay for this role is $16.50 per hour.*Exciting Announcement: Please note that as Hertz continues to focus on our purpose of advancing the way the world moves, our Oklahoma City location is moving as well! We’re gearing up for our move to Oklahoma’s mission critical business and technology campus – 7725 Connect, located at 7725 W Reno Ave, OKC, OK 73127. This move is scheduled for November and this location will be the new onsite requirement for this position moving forward. Depending on start date, there may be an instance of where the new hire will temporarily work at the existing location of 5601 NW Expressway until the move occurs. Should you have any questions, please be sure to ask your Talent Acquisition Partner.What You’ll Do:
- Review and resolve overdue rental files in a timely manner within established guidelines.
- Document contract and vehicle information within appropriate systems, including vehicle location(s), conversations, and research.
- Confirm stolen status with local authorities and review all applicable systems to create a theft package and generate demand letter when applicable.
- Ensure vehicles are placed in the proper hold code.
- Review pending theft packages and partner with Corporate Security when appropriate.
- Support multiple email inboxes and ensure responses are sent in a timely manner.
- Assign vehicles to vendors, as appropriate.
- Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in customer service or call center environment
- Moderate efficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to learns and achieve proficiency in new software applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to de-escalate sensitive situations
- Strong organization and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently
- Bilingual is a plus
