This post is ideal if you are passionate about your profession and committed to delivering high-quality patient focused care.Our theatre suites comprise of 17 theatres. One inpatient theatre is a hybrid vascular theatre used for vascular & interventional radiological procedures, 3 new state of the art robotic system for abdominal & pelvic surgery and 3 theatres are integrated for Laparoscopic use.You will receive excellent in-house training to support all areas of working across Anaesthetics.A flexible approach to working shifts is required. our shift patterns are:07:45-18:00, 07:45-20:00, 19:45-08:00Including on call: 07:30-1930, 19:30-07:30This will include 7 day week cover(HCPC registration is required for this post)(Part time hours considered)Main duties of the job
- You will assist to co-ordinate the provision of a timely, high standard, cost effective & safe Elective/Emergency theatre service, developing collaborative relationships between the multi-professional team and geographical areas, which supports the patient’s journey
- You will work alongside the Clinical Theatre Leads under the direction of the Theatres Matron to ensure that through continuous quality assurance, services are modernised to provide a positive patient experience and improved staff satisfaction.
