Access theThis position attracts a Queensland Health Attraction Incentive of up to $20,000 – find out if you qualify here:About us:The Specialist Outpatients Department spans 3 levels of the Rockhampton Hospital covering 9 major specialties – Cardiology, Dermatology, Ear, Nose and Throat, General Surgery, General Medicine, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics and Urology. The SOPD team works closely with a wide range of other departments including Renal Services, Cancer Care Services, Allied Health, Department of Child Safety, Operational Services, and Community Services.About the role:A Nurse Grade 3 is an Enrolled Nurse (EN) who supports a Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife (RN/RM) in the provision of patient centred care as specified by registration requirements, Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia standards and codes, educational preparation, relevant legislation, and context of care.
- Will work directly with a range of staff within the Specialist Outpatients Department, under the direct or indirect supervision of a RN/RM.
- Seek assistance and support in decision making from a RN/RM.
About you:Mandatory qualification/s: Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate are mandatory for this position.
- Ability to communicate oral and written information promptly and accurately.
- Demonstrates sound evidence-based clinical skills for an EN and knowledge in area of practice and setting working within the scope of practice for an EN.
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to change.
What we offer:Salary information:Total remuneration value of up to $63,559 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $35.92 – $38.12 p.h.
